    2012 Hamann Cyrano Porsche Panamera

August 18, 2012. Ever since it has been unveiled by its creators the Porsche Panamera has been received with a mixed bag of opinions. One thing is certain, the four-door coupe is one of the most powerful cars in its segment, but it's also considered to be the less aesthetically pleasing. That being said, during the past few years the Panamera has been an interesting starting point for major tuning companies out there, including Mansory that didn't really helped Panamera's case. Now, Hamann steps forward and unveils their take on this controversial luxurious sports car with the Hamann Cyrano Porsche Panamera 2012.

First things first, let's start with what's under the hood and see what Hamann did to improve the Porsche. Long story short, the tuning company managed to increase the engine's output in the Turbo and the Turbo S up to 603 horsepower and 870 Nm of torque at 2,250 – 4,500 RPMs.

The results are quite astonishing and if you were to tune up a Panamera Turbo with Hamann's tuning package you'd be able to get it from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, and to 200 km/h from a standstill in 12.6 seconds.

The Hamann Cyrano based on the Turbo S on the other hand will be able to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in just 12.4 seconds.

Top speed for both models has been increased to 315 km/h from 303 and 306 km/h in the standard Turbo and Turbo S respectively.

On the exterior the Panamera has undergone some major modifications especially at the front end where the car has been completely revamped. It now features huge airflows to help keep the engine's temperature in check. The daytime running lights have been beautifully integrated in the air vents and create a dramatic look, the bonnet has been redesigned and the front and rear fenders have been widened by 60 mm.

Furthermore the tuned-up Porsche has been fitted with a new set of alloy wheels, a special suspension system and a lowering module for the air suspension that manages to bring the Panamera's center of gravity closer to the ground by up to 30 mm.

In addition, once the tuning program will be available for purchase a rear sport muffler and a new engine management system will also be available, increasing the amount of horsepower and torque by 80 and 120 Nm respectively.

On the interior the Hamann Cyrano will not be stripped down in order to save weight. On the contrary, the tuned-up model will be enhanced to deliver an even higher degree of luxury, special features including clear-coat finish, leather, Alcantara, personalized foot mats and lots of customization options.

Pricing has not been revealed so far but we're bound to find out more about the Hamann Cyrano Porsche Panamera 2012 once it will get closer to the finish line.
